iRap iSing iLove...God?

this is for the church going , god fearing , Jesus loving.... music folk.

singers, rappers, and producers. at first when people told me about these aspirations i thought, that's awesome. but the number of people who are reaching for this ONE particular dream is growing by the second. everyone has a studio, is making a beat, or singing on youtube waiting for that ONE person to catch a glimpse of them singing a song HOPING to become the next Dondria or Justin Beiber. Im not one to smash on dreams but is it really the music that your longing for and love? or is it the fame and the glamour that has caught your eye?

i know a lot of singers who I'm sure would thank GOD if they got a Grammy but never heard them using the gift for god in church. I know dancers, who want so bad to make it but Ive never seen you perform a praise worship song in the form of dance. there are RAPPERS, who say " i just need a stage and a mic" who i NEVER see on Sunday's asking for a few min to share their talent. its not the music that you are seeking... its the fame.

dont tell me i dont know what im talking about. i LOVE to sing. i have my own recording space. and i use it to be creative and its SATISFYING. Ive taking music CLASSES and sang on the praise team , been a part of the dance team, drama team. dont tell me u want to be a star and your not taking advantage of all the opportunities you have that's right in front of you. waiting for that BIG break? for god to bless you , why would he bless you with MORE when your not even taking the blessing he has for you NOW?

and for those who want to argue this "but i really just love music" - then go to school to be a music teacher.... dance instructor .... vocal trainer. use every source and POUR your love for it into something that will be positive and take advantage of the chances you have right in front of you. start here... right here.. right now.
